Our winter hiking tip for you
From Vent to the Ramolalm mountain hut
Are you already longing for winter? Here’s a tip for a scenic winter hike just for you!
Will you be spending your winter holidays in Austria? Our tip is a hike in Ötztal that leads you from Vent to the Ramolalm mountain hut. Thanks to its high starting point in Vent, at 1,896 metres above sea level, this route is possible from the very beginning of the winter season.
The charming mountaineering village of Vent is popular with alpinists and ski tourers. But it is also a paradise for winter hikers and snowshoers. The trail to the Ramolalm mountain hut (2,215 metres above sea level) leads through a mystical Swiss stone pine forest. The mountain hut, which is no longer managed, goes almost unnoticed in winter. Yet it offers an unparalleled panorama. The majestic peaks of Similaun, Wildspitze, and Weißkugel tower before you and invite you to marvel.
Then cap off the day by indulging in serene relaxation in our sauna.
